Day 1)Olbia-Arbatax - 221km
Today you will enter the center of Sardinia passing by Alà dei Sardi, Buddusò, Bitti and finally Oliena, reaching one of the most important restaurants of the island: surrounded by greenery at the foot of the Gennargentu chain, the Su Gologone restaurant it will make you experience a unique enogastronomic experience in a historical-cultural and naturalistic context of the highest level. You can also visit the source of Su Gologone a few steps from the restaurant. Lunch will be abundant and in the afternoon there is still a long way ahead! You will find yourself in the most beautiful stretches of the SS 125 Orientale Sarda, the one that links Dorgali to Tortolì the mountains, the gorge of Su Gorroppu and the landscapes of this unspoiled corner of Sardinia will give you strong emotions.
Day 2)Arbatax-Arbatax - 274km
Today is dedicated to the culture and history of Sardinia. Head south in the stretch of the SS 125 Orientale Sarda connecting Arbatax to Muravera and then go towards the center of the island in the direction of Barumini where you can not visit the nuragic palace: the largest nuragic settlement dating back over 4000 years ago. In this magical place the guides will immerse you in the most ancient history of the island and will tell you the life of the inhabitants of Sardinia between wars, religion, society and customs. After a quick lunch return to Arbatax passing through a part of unspoiled Sardinia with a very low population density, in which nature and grazing animals are the true hosts.
Day 3)Arbatax-Bosa - 232km
Today you will cross Sardinia from side to side passing through the most beautiful places of the Supramonte. You can admire mountain landscapes rich in history and food and wine specialties, the ruins of the abandoned town of Gairo passing through Ulassai, Seulo, Aritzo and Tonara where you can stop for lunch to taste Torrone, a typical dessert made with almonds, walnuts and honey. You are still in the center of the island and you have to cross the whole area of Logudoro to get to the west coast, to Bosa, a renowned fishing village, famous for its canal port and for the medieval castle.
Day 4)Bosa-Santa Teresa - 241km
Start the day facing the coastal Bosa-Alghero, candidate to become Unesco heritage, is considered one of the most beautiful roads in the world. 53 km of curves that line the stretch of coast that connects the Nurra to Logudoro, will hit you, as well as the quality of the route also driven by its scents and color. Arrived in Alghero, you can not stop for a coffee Reserved beach bar, a local seaside town center that will leave you speechless. Continue north towards Stintino where you can visit the beach "La pelosa", considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world for its crystal clear water and its fine sand. Head east towards Castelsardo, cross the pine forest of Marina di Sorso to get to the panoramic coast that leads to the medieval village where we recommend a visit to the castle and a lunch at the restaurant "L'incantu" accompanied by the beautiful view that characterizes it. In the afternoon, continue eastwards to reach Santa Teresa on a road characterized by beautiful landscapes and Mediterranean vegetation. For dinner we can not recommend the restaurant "Eat Sardegna", where the legendary Mario will let you taste his sardinian specialties.
Day 5)Santa Teresa-Olbia - 143km
Today you will visit the island of La Maddalena. All you have to do is take the few kilometers that separate you from Palau to catch the ferry that will land you on the island. Here you can choose whether to go around the islands of Caprera and La Maddalena on board your motorbike or dive into the clear waters of the archipelago. When you return to Olbia, you will cross the famous Costa Smeralda, destination of the international jet set, where the panoramic road overlooking the crystal clear sea, yatch and dream villas set in the nature will make you daydream.
