Alghero - Castelsardo

Alghero - Castelsardo

In this short travel story we want to try to tell you about one of the most beautiful parts of Northern Sardinia. We are in Alghero, a beautiful town of Catalan origin overlooking the west coast of the island with its historic center, rich in art and tradition as well as tens of kilometers of beaches, it is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Sardinia.
With our motorbike we head towards the capocaccia headland to reach the largest natural bay in Europe, Porto Conte. Once we arrive at Capocaccia from the lookout overlooking the island "Foradada" we can admire the vastness of the Mediterranean sea on one side and the skyline of the town of Alghero on the other all immersed in a naturalistic context of the highest quality.
We leave behind the huntsman and head towards Il Lago di Baratz from which, thanks to the advice of Lorenzo di Motorentsardinia, through a white road we cut the plain of the Nurra up to the Argentiera passing through Palmadula. A partical context, dark sand, ocean waves and behind us the abandoned mine puts a bit of agitation
We aim the beak of our GS towards the north to reach Stintino; in the past a small fishing village that became an international tourist destination thanks to the “la pelosa” beach, in second place in the international ranking of the most beautiful beaches in the world; I have not seen the others ... in any case, I think, that this one has nothing to envy from anyone.
SI continues in an easterly direction crossing the immense pine forest of Platamona, to reach Castelsardo, a medieval village with the beautiful castle overlooking the northern sea of the island, landscapes and breathtaking views will accompany you along the road that connects the two places .
