You can also visit the Su Gologone spring just a few steps from the restaurant. Lunch will be plentiful, and in the afternoon, there’s still plenty of road ahead! You will find yourself on the most beautiful stretch of the SS 125 Orientale Sarda, the one that connects Dorgali to Tortolì. The mountains, the Su Gorroppu gorge, and the landscapes of this untouched corner of Sardinia will give you powerful emotions.

Today’s itinerary will allow you to discover some of the island’s most beautiful places, traveling on roads that seem tailor-made for motorcyclists. Start the tour passing through Tonara, a mountain village where torrone is produced: a traditional Sardinian sweet made from a mixture of almonds, walnuts, and honey. Next, reach Aritzo, a village nestled in the woods and known as the chestnut production capital. In the afternoon, continue eastward to return toward Arbatax, passing through Gairo Vecchia, a striking abandoned village at the foot of a landslide-prone mountain.

Head north towards Dorgali along the most beautiful stretch of the SS 125 Orientale Sarda, the road that connects Dorgali to Tortolì: the mountains, the Su Gorroppu gorge, and the landscapes of this unspoiled corner of Sardinia will give you strong emotions. Pass through the tourist towns of San Teodoro, Siniscola, and Budoni until you reach Porto Taverna, where you can have lunch with your feet in the sand at the beautiful restaurant "12.1," admiring the island of Tavolara. In the afternoon, reach the Costa Smeralda, a destination for the international jet set, where the panoramic road perched above the crystal-clear sea, yachts, and dream villas nestled in nature will make you daydream with your eyes wide open.
